𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 doesn’t have to be overwhelming —…

𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 doesn’t have to be overwhelming — even if you’ve never written a single line of code. In fact, you can go from zero to building something real in about 30 minutes if you keep things simple and focused.

 • Start by installing Claude Code and signing in. This part is quick, just get yourself set up so you’re ready to start interacting with it.

 • Next, spend a few minutes creating a context folder and adding a simple about-me.md file. This might sound small, but it’s actually one of the most important steps. This is how Claude understands who you are, what you’re trying to build, and how to help you better.  𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀.

 • Once that’s done, begin your first conversation. Don’t rush into building right away. Use a strong model (like Opus 4.6 or above) and let it ask you questions first. The better the context, the better the outcome.

 • As you move forward, open the live preview and start shaping what it builds. Keep your feedback simple and clear things like “make the headline bigger” or “use an off-white background.” You’re not coding here you’re guiding.

 • By the 20-minute mark, give it something real to work on. A small project. Maybe a landing page or something you’ve been putting off for months. This is where things start to click.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗽: if you’re comfortable, turn on “bypass permissions” so the workflow feels smooth and uninterrupted no constant approvals slowing you down. I am personally 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.
